Abstractions

Through paintings and collage-paintings, I try to abstract nature to evoke joy and peace.  I use intense colors, movement, and mark making to create unity across my work.  I rely on the “push/pull” technique of Hans Hoffman to create a color composition and interesting tensions within the surface.  All the pieces used in my collages are from my own previous works that find a new life.
